The Beast’s Ukraine Appetizer
and upcoming China Sea Buffet

We can see the “Beast” of Revelation 13 flexing its muscles in Ukraine, with Russian tanks on the move and NATO scrambling to regain credible deterrence in Europe. This invasion marks an important step in setting the stage for a major showdown between world powers, but Christians should remember: Jesus hinted that we should keep monitoring the East. You can expect a bigger End-Times military conflict to begin near China.
“World War III” is back in the national conversation now, after Vladimir Putin brushed aside Joe Biden’s “sanctions” bluster, published a speech nostalgic about the Soviet Union, and pushed into Ukraine.
What happens next? What should we do about it?
Here’s the good news: Christians already have the answers if we consult God’s Word!
Our Creator gave us a detailed roadmap in Bible Prophecy, including the Book of Revelation. Never make the mistake of considering that holy record outdated or obscure; its pages are filled with the most important landmark events in history that have been happening ever since.
The ancient vision foretold the rise of modern Communist powers which echo Rome’s brutal empire:
“I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.” (Revelation 13, KJV)
Here is how the Bible describes the Beast during the 20th century, including Ronald Reagan’s Cold War era:
“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” (Revelation 13, KJV)
Although Russia (the Bear) will play a key role in history’s grand finale, remember that we’re not in the 1980s anymore! Moscow’s “42 months” of dominion are completed, and Russia is now the lieutenant rather than the head honcho of the authoritarian world. Today China (the Dragon) has become the dominant military and economic power of the East.
Bristling with shiny new missiles and flush with stealth aircraft packed with stolen technology, plus an enormous industrial capacity and shipbuilding industry working on overdrive, Beijing is the well-funded Command center of the Marxist End-Times monster. Large-scale action should be anticipated in its vicinity.
Ukraine is giving the Beast a fresh taste of blood, while testing the West’s mettle under Biden’s weak and chaotic leadership, but the real feeding will start when China makes its move.
Despite Ukraine’s importance to the West, most Americans do not support a hot war defending it. Nor does anyone imagine that Joe Biden could manage one!
However, East Asia is a different problem. Beijing’s Communist rulers have staked their entire reputations on a promise to subdue small democratic neighbor Taiwan. Xi Jinping must do so, or else “lose face” in front of his own subjects; that is unthinkable for a Chinese Emperor.
Taiwan just happens to be the world’s top semiconductor headquarters, while one of China’s few remaining weak points is its inability to create sophisticated microchips domestically. Allowing Beijing to capture that island is simply not an acceptable military option; America will feel tremendous pressure to respond to any conflict in that region.
Jesus referenced the geography where action would be focused before His return:
“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” (Matthew 24, KJV)
China meets every single requirement of Bible Prophecy for the sinister End-Times power recorded by John, as I have thoroughly detailed and documented in my new book “China, Revelation's Beast.”
Like the Roman Caesars, modern Chinese leaders exercise great military and political power, blaspheme God, and cruelly persecute Christians and others who do not bow to the Beast.
Their own names and China itself match the Antichrist’s infamous Unholy Number, just as Rome did.
Knowing its identity makes the Beast’s moves easier to anticipate. Count on Putin to join the End-Times melee, but the primary challenge of our generation will be facing the colossal Chinese superpower on its quest for a new Chinese Empire of world domination.
“Ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” (Matthew 24)
